I already uninstalled firefox.but if click update for my antivirus nothing happens.even all the web links i saved to my favorites.how can i revert to my original settings? with yahoo as my search engine.

i think you will get a better answers if you post the anit-virus program as they might be a current bug.

If you are using XP then you can use the recovery program if its enabled.

Click Start %26gt; all programs %26gt; Accessories %26gt; System Tools %26gt; System Restore

Then follow the information given in the program and recover before the problem started.

Then after that see if your anit-virus will update if not then theres a current bug in it or if you pay for the anit-virus then you havn't paid that month.
