My personal recommendation would be McAfee because its far less demanding in resources.

Norton Internet Security is the best option right now. However, assuming it works properly, it looks like Windows OneCare will be a good deal for people with multiple computers, once its out of BETA. In the interim, get Norton Internet Security.

Because some antivirus will remove some of the new viruses but other wont, Now a days the hackers are creating new viruses targeting the antiviruses itself.

You have to keep update on the virus details and atleast have one antivirus with day to day update.
