Is Norton security scan from google pack a good antivirus?

Google pack has a new antivirus for free call Norton security scan (from norton) It is supposedly a free antivirus that has free updates.

I was wondering, how is the interface? Is it a good antivirus? does it slow down your computer? Is it better then AVG?

My own personal opinion as I have tested Nortons over many years is that Norton's is the worse resource hog, fails to find anything on scan, and when you try and remove from your pc you are left with 375 fragments hidden all over your systems that cause serious conflict.
