I need to delete Yahoo Antivirus but it's not in Add/Delete under Control Panel. What to do?

I like BitDefender v 10 very much, particularly their customer service (!), but I now need to delete Yahoo antivirus. It does not appear on Control Panel's Add/Delete list. I even used msconfig to try to get it to not load at startup, so I could delete -- even that didn't work. Any ideas?

I really don't think Yahoo has its own antivirus. It may be using Norton or Symantec or McAfee.

You can remove those through ctrl panel and then "add/remove programs."

Hope that helps.

Try these. They work and they are free:

Run the tool and then download the free spyware and virus protection programs:

Malicious virus removal tool:

Ad-Aware Free download:

AVG Download free

Goto the Antivirus folder under program files and see if there is an uninstall file ... that will remove it from your system.
go to search - search anything with yahoo in the file and delete away
there is nothing called Yahoo antivirus!! Yahoo has joined hands with norton so ur computer will have norton antivirus!! You will find something called Symantec Corp. or Norton Antivirus in add remove prog. Gluck!!!
Maybe it's in services.msc
