in such cases we usually reload windows...
Boot the computer up hit F8 while booting go to safe mode and run the programs . they should remove it .
try downloading ad aware by lavasoft you can find it on cnet.com
If Avg isn't removing it, try Micro Trend, Norton's or McAfee.

McAfee has a program called stinger that is free to download.

If nothing else works then you may have to do a clean re-install of your os.

Actually spend some money and get protection software. Don't be cheap on something like this. I mean we are talking about a computer that at one time cost at least three hundred dollars. There is no sense in not spending an extra 50 at most on your computer.

Download and install a free 30 day evaluation of McAfee immediately. Then also learn about the SYSTEM RESTORE option in windows...you might need that if the antivirus is not enough.
