You can get McAfee anti-virus + anti-spyware + firewall legally and for free here:

Just scroll down to where 'McAfee' has been advertised, click there to go to McAfee's website...you will have to register (completely free) and you get the McAfee VirusScan Plus software subscription for a year.

I don't suggest using McAfee, because it has a very TIMED freeware. AVG allows you to keep scanning even if you are past the freeware trial days.

AVG also updates everyday, so you know that it has all the best equipment to fight off viruses.

I can tell you where to get free anti-virus, but I would not recommend McAfee, it is not free anyway.

McAfee isn't free.

You need to install (free): ONE Anti-virus (delete others, I use AVG free), ONE Firewall (Zone Alarm), and these 5 Anti-spyware tools: Windows Defender, Spybot, Ad-Aware, Spyware Blaster and cCleaner.
