When I signed up to att/yahoo program, I understood that I was to be protected with the antivirus/spyware programs. Please let me know

how my computer is covered from virus's? Thank you for your help.

okay look at it this way. every single person you meet will have a firewall and virus protection. however this is what people do. they sit and they make viruses. i tried something along the lines of it with moderate success but it was meh. not worth my time. and don;t worry about viruses. worrry about trojans. get something like e trust pest patrol when your subscription runs out. it takes 5 seconds to scan (litterally) and wipes out tojans. gl. =]

Yahoo has a built in virus scanner on it's email to allow you to scan files before downloading.

I am not sure what AT%26T uses, but I recently worked on a Computer that was full of viruses that supposedly had this same protection.
