Why after i install McAfee antivirus, i can't connect to internet?

I've tried to uninstall it, but it still don't works. What had happened? How to solve this problem?

I had a similar problem with Computer Associates' Internet Security program a while back, and the trick I had to do then was change a couple of the settings to allow more trusted sites to access the net. Hopefully that won't be involved here, but you can always call the McAfee support folks for help.

Open up McAfee and see if there a place to add web addresses that are allowed through your firewall and antivirus software.
To do a system restore,

go to start/programs/accessories/systemtools/s... restore

choose-restore my computer to an earlier time

look at the calendar-choose a date that is in bold, a couple of days before the problem happened, click next, click next

If you are familiar with the search feature, go to start/search and type in system restore, when it comes up click on it and it will bring you to te screen that says --restore my computer to an earlier time.
It must have installed a firewall as well as the virus package. Try to go back to a different time in system restore or see if there is another package to remove.
That because its not a good antivirus software.
