Which Antivirus is better AVG or PC Tools Antivirus?

If you pay money for it, then it's better than the free ones.

The person above me is clueless...

anyone that would go to that much trouble to discredit a product is probably a fanatical left-wing liberal to boot.

I'm not familiar with PC Tools but I've been using AVG Free Edition for years after finally getting rid of Norton AV and it's annual "subscription fees" and have been very happy with it and have been virus free all that time.

AVG. If AVG starts getting errors (like it did on my computer), then get 'avast! free edition'.
AVG for sure

Norton is not even a option and you people should know better than to recommend that piece of crap.

If you think that is actually worth getting please refrain from spreading your lack of security knowledge. All norton does is hog up your pc and offers little to no protection.
Neither! NOD32 is good and light on system resources.
NORTON ANTIVIRUS...or KAPERSKY...

both you mention are not good...
Norton
Mostly noobs and the naive and the computer illiterate use AVG Free. These types love AVG because they say it is easy to use and almost never bothers them with any pop-ups or warnings. Of course AVG Free never bothers them, it hardly ever finds any virus to warn them about!
