Norton 360 is the best one out there. Personally I don't think McAffee is very good. CA isn't very good either. I'll rank the ones which I know.

1.Norton 360 (Most Recommended) It's fast and light on resources unlike previous versions. It's the best overall. Best antivirus, antispyware.

2.Zonealarm Internet Security Suite(Highly Recommend. Used it for 1 year). Recently there has been a slow down which affects some computers. But still have a go at it. Zonealarm has the best firewall. It uses the Kaspersky antivirus engine.

3.Kaspersky Internet Security Suite. Great antivirus and equals Norton's antivirus.

That's all I can think of. If you don't like Norton go for Zonealarm. if you don't like that go for Kaspersky. You're bound to like one of them.

else check Panda Antivirus or Quick Heal ( not free)
Avast is good.

Apart from avast, try AVG frm grisoft.com.

Avoid Norton - Resource Hogging software

McAfee - Slow Down the system.

Try Comodo Firewall for firewall

Try Spybot Search %26 Destroy for Malware
