Is norton antivirus a bad choice? if so what is the best antivirus?moto guzzi

no.

people just fail to research viruses very well to remove them with norton's process.

each company has its virus removal procedure... though i think some companies r better at dift virus removal like sophos, etc...

Is norton antivirus a bad choice? if so what is the best antivirus?norton internet security 2008

Yes, norton is pushy and often blocks sites and internet access that has no malicious content without warning. I would recommend Trend-Micro's PC-cillin. Many major companies use this software and it is easily personalizable to perform exactly how you want it to, as norton most certaintly is not easy to modify.
yes norton is bad....look for kaspersky...bit defender..nod 32

or free avg 7.5 from grisoft
i used Norton Antivirus before..and

then I changed to McAfee because de norton one wasn't really successful..

honestly, McAfee is better..it works really well...
With NAV, you're asking for trouble. Use a good firewall (zonealarm) and if you want you can use a virus program (Panda or PC-Cillin are the ones I would recommend).
Bad Choice.... no way... I been a user for at least 4 years... can't say it has been a bad choice... newest version has a whole lot of programs that helps your computer stay as sharp a possible ( that is if u get system works) if the antivirus it self can detect even spyware or potential patches on ur computer that may cause you problems.... so I said stick with norton! is by far an excellent software to protect you PC.
Norton it's the worst choice. Here you have some good and free antivirus programs:
