When I remove Norton antivirus - It takes away DVD driver!!. Reason?

Norton Antivirus is troubling with the speed performence.So removed it.

DVD driver is gone.By retore early date,Norton came back with DVD driver !. Did it again twice the same result.What causes this?

i really have no clue what this is. um this is a really good thing to do. call norton theyre good they solved my problem befor too.

make sure you dont remove any dll files during uninstalling norton... a dll file that was used by the dvd driver might have been deleted thus making it equivalent to being uninstalled as well
