Cant Shut Off Norton Antivirus 2006 HELP!!?

ok, so I purchased norton antivirus 2006. I play a game on the web that has drop down menus and they dont work anymore. i had Norton Internet security before and there was an option to just disable it so that the drop down menus on the game would work. I cant find any way to shut off Norton 2006 and there are no options in it to fix the problem!! How Can I Shut It Off!?!? HELP!!!

Ok follow these instructions carefuly...

click on start

click on run

type in msconfig

click on the tab that says services

then check the box that says hide all mycrosoft services

then find all in the list that says northorn in the name and uncheck it then restart your comp after you click apply ok.. if you furter questions im me on mesinger im spendeck@yahoo.com

Find it,highlight Nortons and end process

Called:

NAVAPSVC
Reboot in safe mode and uninstall that funky crap!
Type in msconfig and take it out of the startup menu, you may have to take it off and reload it again.
Common Problem with Symatec product. I suggest once you get it off by following the step above. Don't put it back on their..
