ignore people who tell you to get avg, its about as good as norton (which is crap) if you want a really good antivirus, download nod32, its been proven that its the best antivirus available, heres the link to get the full version for free, this is 100% legal, this will speed you computer up because it uses less resources than norton and any other antivirus, also 100% detection rate always, it updates every few hours.

Don't use one. Reboot and restore programs work so much better. Just restart and all infections disappear. In fact you have to disable the program to install anything you want after the current session. There isn't a better protection method.
